This weekend i had to go to Eugene in Oregon for an event. It was a pretty lackluster trip, all things considered, but I saw some interesting stuff while I was there. Obviously this is a less formal report than anything in the 'Adventures' series, so don't expect it to be crazy humorous or anything. I think there's really only one thing I can kick this report off with, and it really speaks for itself. ![]() I don't know his name. I don't know who he is, or why he's there. But I can provide intrepid readers with some small morsel of context. This fascinatingly stanced individual is the 'Oregon Ducks' mascot. The specific area of Eugene that I visited was this sort of nihilist hellscape college town, and it's reflected in the hopeless gaze of the duck mascot. ![]() His body is enlongated. Distorted in the bare shape of, perhaps, a horse? It's unclear exactly what the designers intended for this rocking horse. Specifically the space directly below his midsection has been stretched backward, implying a fascinating spinal structure. There's really nothing I can say that encapsulates my feelings about this 'Oregon Ducks' rocking horse. ![]() I also saw these toy robots. 'The Amazing Robot Companion' looks like Wheatley from Portal 2 lol I guess the last thing on the agenda was this stuffed panda. He's pretty cute, but his legs are, like, oddly dainty, and it's pretty funny to see. ![]() Anyways, that's all. Thanks for reading lol go back homeee |
